We're implementing some changes to our Terms of Use around streaming and/or recording using our official app. Moving forward you must obtain explicit permission from all players and the Storyteller before capturing or sharing gameplay. Additionally, recording or streaming minors is strictly prohibited under any circumstances.

These changes are designed as an improvement of the safety of users on our platform, particularly minors.

Here's the full overview of the changes made, coming to your terms of use. Please make sure you familiarise yourself with these new rules before your next game of Blood on the Clocktower Online!

  • Recording and Streaming. Users may record, livestream, broadcast, publish, or otherwise share audio or video of gameplay conducted through the Service only where they have first obtained the permission of all players, the storyteller, and other participants whose voice, image, username, gameplay, communications, or other participation may be captured or shared.

  • It is the responsibility of the user recording, livestreaming, broadcasting, publishing, or sharing such material to ensure that all relevant permissions have been obtained before recording or streaming begins. If any participant does not consent, the user must not record, livestream, broadcast, publish, or otherwise share that participant’s involvement in the game.

  • Users must not knowingly record, livestream, broadcast, publish, or otherwise share any gameplay involving a minor, or any voice, image, username, communications, or other participation of a minor, through the Service.

  • Users must not mislead other participants about whether a game is being recorded, livestreamed, broadcast, published, or otherwise shared. Users must also comply with all applicable laws, platform rules, and third-party rights, including privacy, publicity, copyright, and data protection rights.

  • Failure to obtain appropriate permission before recording, livestreaming, broadcasting, publishing, or otherwise sharing gameplay, or any recording, livestreaming, broadcasting, publishing, or sharing of gameplay involving a minor, may be treated as a breach of this Agreement and may result in corrective action, including removal from a game, warnings, suspension, termination of access to the Service, or other action deemed appropriate by TPI in its sole discretion.
